7 sierpnia mieliśmy przyjemność gościć w Katedrze Inżynierii Powierzchni i Analiz Materiałów delegację z Zhejiang University of Technology w Chinach. W spotkaniu udział wzięli: prof. Qunli Zhang, prof. Liang Wang, prof. Bo Li oraz dr inż. Szymon Tofil z Politechniki Świętokrzyskiej, który obecnie pracuje w Zhejiang University of Technology. Wydział Inżynierii Metali i Informatyki Przemysłowej reprezentowali Dziekan, prof. Agnieszka Kopia, oraz Prodziekan ds. Współpracy i Rozwoju, prof. Łukasz Ruch. Działalność Katedry IPiAM przedstawili natomiast Kierownik Katedry, prof. Sławomir Kąc, oraz prof. Agnieszka Radziszewska.
Spotkanie było doskonałą okazją do zaprezentowania AGH, Wydziału oraz Katedry, a także do rozmów o perspektywach współpracy naukowej, szczególnie w zakresie nowoczesnej obróbki laserowej oraz wymiany akademickiej. W trakcie wizyty Goście mieli również okazję zapoznać się z infrastrukturą badawczą Katedry. Cieszymy się z konstruktywnych rozmów, wymiany doświadczeń oraz dobrej atmosfery, która towarzyszyła całemu spotkaniu.
Zwieńczeniem wizyty było zaproszenie przedstawicieli Katedry IPiAM oraz Wydziału do rewizyty w Zhejiang University of Technology. Mamy nadzieję, że spotkanie to stanie się początkiem dalszej, owocnej współpracy naukowej.
On August 7, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Zhejiang University of Technology, China, at the Department of Surface Engineering and Materials Analysis. The meeting was attended by Prof. Qunli Zhang, Prof. Liang Wang, Prof. Bo Li, and Dr. Eng. Szymon Tofil from the Kielce University of Technology, who is currently working at Zhejiang University of Technology. The Faculty of Metals Engineering and Industrial Computer Science was represented by the Dean, Prof. Agnieszka Kopia, and the Vice-Dean for Cooperation and Development, Prof. Łukasz Ruch. The activities of the Department of Surface Engineering and Materials Analysis were presented by the Head of the Department, Prof. Sławomir Kąc, and Prof. Agnieszka Radziszewska.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to present AGH University, the Faculty, and the Department, as well as to discuss prospects for scientific cooperation, particularly in the fields of advanced laser processing and academic exchange. During the visit, our guests also had the opportunity to explore the Department’s research facilities and infrastructure. We are delighted with the constructive discussions, exchange of experiences, and friendly atmosphere that accompanied the entire meeting. The visit concluded with an invitation for representatives of the Department of Surface Engineering and Materials Analysis and the Faculty to visit Zhejiang University of Technology. We hope that this meeting will mark the beginning of further fruitful scientific cooperation.
